Job Description
- Create eight-step lesson plans thoroughly and prepares needed materials for an effective lesson consistently
- Develops and administers a variety of assessments to measure students' growth towards goals and to monitor students mastery of the content standards
- Utilizes a variety of instructional strategies based on the diverse needs of all students
- Participates actively in professional development sessions and assignments
- Implements classroom management techniques to create a nurturing and structured classroom environment
- Possession of valid intern, preliminary or clear credential or other credential authorizing service as a teacher issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (can be single or multiple subject)
- Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution
- Possession of either a Bilingual, Cross-cultural, Language, and Academic Development (BCLAD) certificate, a Cross-cultural, Language and Academic Development (CLAD) certificate, a Bilingual Certificate of Competence (BCC), or a Language Development Specialist (LDS) certificate is highly desirable
- Bilingual ability is preferred
Salary Range: $50-60k (DOE)
